Junjie Zhao

About Me.

I am a first-year Ph.D. student (2026 cohort) in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). I received my bachelor's degree in Information and Computational Science from the School of Mathematics, Hefei University of Technology (HFUT) in 2026.

With a background in mathematics and computational science, I am particularly interested in understanding visual intelligence from the perspective of representation, structure, and dynamics. My research interests include 3D Vision, Representation Learning, Generative Models, and World Models.

I am passionate about developing principled and efficient representations for 3D data, and exploring how mathematical modeling, learning-based methods, and generative intelligence can be combined to better perceive, reconstruct, edit, and simulate the physical world.
